about
"Strange" is the second track from SF's upcoming release "Heart & Soulless." It was originally written in 2001, but, like the rest of the record, was never recorded, as singer Tim Burdick enlisted in the US Army after September 11, 2001. Suburbia's Finest reformed in 2016 in order to arrange and record the unfinished material. "Heart & Soulless" will feature 10 tracks from this era (2000-2002) and one new track celebrating SF's return. Release of the full LP is tentatively scheduled for April 2017. Thank you for your interest and support. Happy listening!!! -SF
lyrics
Strange:
I don't care what they say
Everything is grey
And you can't take that away
So you think it's a line
And you're sure I'm high
And everyone was right
So I'm lonely tonight
And there's no one in sight
I think I might be
I think I might be
You said that I was strange
Chances come
People go
What you shared with me
I don't know
The part of me that you said was bad
Worst friend I've ever had
When you're not around
I feel a much more solid ground
With this joint as my crutch
I won't be so bugged
And you can't crush me much
At all
So I'm lonely tonight
And there's no one in sight
I think I might be
I think I might be
You said that I was strange
Chances come
People go
What you shared with me
I don't know
The part of me that you said was bad
Worst friend I've ever had
When you're not around
I feel like I can be myself
When you're not around
I don't feel so strange
So don't come around
Chances come
People go
What you shared with me
I don't know
The part of me that you said was bad
Worst friend I've ever had
